Connor Flood

Teaching Assistant

Connor graduated this year with a degree in astrophysics. Since his sophomore year, he has been working in the basement of Yale with a haloscope (HAYSTAC), searching for a dark matter particle called the axion. His work mainly included building some components for the machine in solid works and putting them together, as well as some python work on the digital filter for HAYSTAC. While at Yale, he was captain of the club skiing team and club golf team, but he also likes badminton, spikeball, and cornhole. He loves board games, reading, and going for hikes and runs.
