Ellis is a rising junior majoring in Astrophysics at Yale who loves all things space-related, and is thrilled to be a teaching assistant for this year’s YSPA program. Outside of class, Ellis is involved in the Yale Aerospace Liquid Engine group, Yale Astronomical Society, and Yale’s Amoriem Labs. Ellis has previously done research on simulating thermonuclear supernovae at Stony Brook University, and is currently conducting research on the Gravitational Wave Background using Pulsar Timing Arrays with Chiara Mingarelli. When not taking part in extracurriculars or clubs, Ellis can probably be found taking astrophotography, hiking, drawing, or listening to music.
