Kyra is a rising junior majoring in Astrophysics at Yale. She is an Outreach Chair for the Yale Astronomy & Space Student Society (or YASSS for short!) and is an active member of Project Rocket in the Yale Undergraduate Aerospace Association. She is conducting research on characterizing and mapping stellar streams in the galactic halo of the Milky Way. In her free time, she enjoys bouldering and presenting night sky shows at the Leitner Family Observatory and Planetarium.
